Welcome to the Cannon County Cattlemen's Association
The Cannon County Cattlemen's Association (CCCA) is one of the younger associations in Tennessee, formed in April 2010. The Cannon County area is home to farmers who take their jobs of raising cattle and producing quality beef seriously. Farm School has been held in Cannon County for over almost 5 decades and it was mentioned among the producers that with certain issues arising in the industry that now was the time to take action and form a county association. The first CCCA meeting was held on June 3, 2010 at the Woodbury Lions Club and by the end of meeting 43 members had joined the county association and 19 new members were added to the Tennessee Cattlemen's Association's roster. Charles Hord, TCA Executive Vice President, was present for the meeting and discussed issues currently facing the industry and emphasized the importance for farmers to "Tell The Story."

Mission Statement
The mission of the Cannon County Cattlemen's Association is to serve as a resource for Cannon County beef producers, youth and consumers for information and education; while also aiding producers to obtain greater profitability through diversified marketing opportunities.
